Dark Glam Look Using Elf Cosmetics (Long-lasting Lustrous Eyeshadow!)

It's official: I am uber-addicted to these little pots of awesome. Oh man, these are so FREAKING BEAUTIFUL. I was just goofing around, and I thought I'd share this with you all. Step 1: Prime your pretty eyelids with Elf's mineral Eyeshadow Primer.
Step 2: Take Elf's Eye Brightening Eyeshadow Quad in Drama and use the black shade to cover the entire eyelid up to the crease. Also swipe a little bit of the shade under your lower lash line.
Step 3: Take the second darkest color in the quad, and line your crease with it and blend upwards.
Step 4: Now dip your brush into the Shimmery light silver shade and cover your brow bone area. Blend downwards into the darker silver shade.
Step 5: Take Elf's Long-lasting Lustrous Eyeshadow in Party and sweep across your eyelids over the black shade. Don't forget to go over the black on the lower lash line with it. ;)
Step 6: Take Elf's Long-lasting Lustrous Eyeshadow in celebration and sweep it over the dark grey shade.
Step 7: Take elf's Long-lasting Eyeshadow in Confetti and highlight your brow bone on top of the light silver shade.
Step 8: Line your eyes with a wing, and coat those lashes in an awesome mascara, and there you have it!
Hope you enjoy. Let me know what you think!

Purple Rust Tutorial!

I wanted to try something exotic and seductive, uncommon and interesting. I turned to my NYX Box of Eyeshadows and a few Elf products to throw something together. Well, I'm not entirely sure if I love this look or not, but I think I'm going to use it on a model for a photoshoot! It's purple and feminine, copper and grungy. Even if it's something you wouldn't personally wear, I hope that it inspires you to wear some creative and bold makeup, or brainstorm for something cool and unique to try out! Step 1: Prime your eyes with a good primer such as Elf's Eyelid Primer.
Step 2: dab your brush into the bright coppery shade of the NYX Box of Eyeshadows Palette. Cover your entire eyelid with this color.
Step 3: Take Elf's Long-lasting Lustrous Eyeshadow in Festivity and apply it from the outer corner of your eyelid towards the inner corner...but stop a little over halfway to the inner corner.
Step 4: Take Elf's Mineral Eyeshadow in Golden, and dab it ONLY in the center of your eyelid, between the copper color and the sparkly purple shade.
Step 5: Dab some of the dark purple shade from the NYX Box of Eyeshadows and apply it gently over the Festivity Elf color. Blend upwards and outwards.
Step 6: Take a nude color close to your skin tone and blend from your brow bone into the purple/golden/coppery shades.
Step 7: Use a black eyeliner such as Elf's Cream Eyeliner in Black to create a small or big wing, and line your top lash line. Line your lower lash line as well.
Step 8: Use a good black mascara such as Elf's Lash Extending Mascara to coat your lashes w/ 1-2 coats.
Step 9: Dab some mauve blush onto the apples of your cheeks, and swipe back towards your hairline. I'm using Elf's Studio Blush in Berry Merry.
Step 10: Next is the lips. try to use a light or sheer berry shade. I'm using Elf's Conditioning Lip balm SPF 15 in Blissful Berry.
And there you have it! Finished Look:
What do you guys think? I'm kind of on the fence about it.

Shades of Green Tutorial! Bright and Awesome!

This post is an Ode to my favorite color. Products Used: NYX Box of Eyeshadows ELF Eyelid Primer in Pearl NYX Eyeshadow Base in White ELF Cream Eyeliner in Black ELF Studio Kohl Eyeliner ELF Lash Extending Mascara ELF Studio Blush in Candid Coral ELF Luscious Liquid Lipstick in Brownie Points ELF Studio Brushes Step 1: Prime your eyelids with an eyeshadow primer such as Elf's Eyelid Primer in Pearl.
Step 2: Use a white base for extra color pop such as the NYX eyeshadow Base in White. Cover the entire eyelid.
Step 3: Take a yellow-green shade such as the one pictured from the NYX Box of Shadows 112 colors palette and gently pat it on the inner corner of your eye.
Step 4:Take a darker green shade and pat right next to the yellow-green shade. Blend well where the two shades meet.
Step 5: Take an even darker shade of green and fill the outer corner of your eye. Blend well where the darker green meets the mid-shade green. Blend the crease line upwards, so it doesn't look so sharp.
Step 6: Take a nude shade that is as close to your skin tone as you can get and apply it as a highlight for your brow bone. Blend downward into the green shades, very lightly.
Step 7: Take a very dark green shade and use it to line your lower lash line.
Step 8: Line your upper lash line with a black eyeliner such as Elf's Cream Eyeliner in Black. Line your water line with black eyeliner as well. (I used Elf's Studio Kohl Eyeliner for that) Coat your eyelashes with black mascara such as Elf's Lash Extending Mascara.
Step 9: Use a coral color on your cheeks such as Elf's Candid Coral Studio Blush. Don't just keep the color on the apples of your cheeks...blend it back and upwards. (Follow your cheekbone structure)
Step 10: Finish up the look with a nude colored lip gloss such as Elf's Luscious Liquid Lipstick in Brownie Points.
And there you have it! What do you guys think?
